Skins of water that veneer two fields of black granite lie flush with
the surrounding dry pedestrian areas. There is no physical barrier
between the water expression and its surroundings. This allows it
to interrelate with and engage the interior space of the Crossroads
Atrium elevator lobby in the City of Commerce, near Los Angeles,
California.

Visually joining the two water skins are a series of steady state
Laminar Streams. Apparently motionless, and with no splash or
sound, the parabolic water arches span from one water plane to
the other resulting in a delicate and crystalline water sculpture
that reflects the ambient light and seamlessly rests within the
center of the space.
